The Head Event

   Material was specially prepared for our magazine by Ivan Ter-Mateosyants, the Executive director of NPAA. It relates to the significant event of the Russian Valve Association – the meeting where reports were presented and the election of new officials happened as well as preceded to NPAA Presidium that took place on March, 13, 2008.
   The following matters were discussed:
   - quantitative changes of NPAA members;
   - growth of membership fees;
   - new composition of NPAA Presidium elected on the meeting.
   Moreover, different opinions expressed to some actual matters which were discussed by the participants of the Meeting both during its official part and lobby interviews are stated in the article, in particular, regarding the possibility of Executive directorate staff deduction, the development of national standards and so on.
