Acting Mechanism Or Actuator?

   N. Filippov, the well-known expert in actuators, brings up the question of using the Russian-language terms formed by transliteration of appropriate meanings of English-language terms. The author considers that such terms used by Russian companies in their official documents may cause confusion and that's why it is impossible to use them. The author urges to use only such terminology which is set out in national standards and other normative documents.
