The Development Of Quality Management System at Valve Factories

The published article written by Vadim Egorov, the head of PIRS-Consalt Company, is the first among the cycle of articles devoted to the quality management problems of valve factories.
Based on the long-term practice of business optimization of the headed company, the author raises the vital problem: how much the formal implementation of quality system management with the purpose to receive ISO Certificate results in real changes of factory management?
The author resumes that the presence of typical gap between form and content at quality management system implementation at the Russian factories seems to be inevitable in the condition of dominating mentality.
The author finds the way out of this situation in the development of corporate quality management systems, as well as in active cooperation of valve factories in quality management - in essence, in interchange of positive experience in benchmarking mode.
