Epishov A.P. Strategic conception of flange joint sealing in critical equipment

   The author shares his experiment in development of advanced research of static detachable joints sealing.
   He reviews the most popular gaskets for flanged joints and describes in details the new strategic conception.
The suggested conception points to exclude the possibility of sealing damage during detachable joints mounting, as well as at the ease of its mounting. The special metal ring is to be used. This ring contains the facility to fix on it the sealing cartridge and the element (the internal metal reinforced ring) that exclude over-pressuring and therefore the damage of sealing during the assembly.
   The mounting ring is made of stainless steel, sealing cartridge can be made of any fle­xible sealing material.
