Mozgechkov V.A. Electric actuators for valves. General tendencies of development

The author describes the general tendencies of development of electric actuators among which are: an increase of function’s variety; equipping of electric actuators with electronic control devices and signaling; an enlargement of spectrum of offered patterns, a development of conception of modular construction; a broadening of ranges and divisibility of supposed magnitude of torques and speed; an increase of reliability; an integration of intellectual actuators with valves – «smart valves»; a minimization of maintenance.
